From the very moment Randal popped the question and Amanda said a resounding ‘yes’, the American couple knew they wanted to get married on the renowned Amalfi Coast. Upon visiting, they toured various wedding venues and quickly fell in love with Anantara Convento di Amalfi, an enchanting and historic wedding venue that is set within the cliffside of Amalfi. Smitten with its architectural aesthetic, rooftop terrace and magnificent cloister, Amanda and Randal could easily picture themselves saying ‘I Do’. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of planning many luxury celebrations at Anantara Convento di Amalfi, and it was an honour to help the couple curate their dream Amalfi Coast wedding here. As the sun began to rise, dancing across the azure waters, excitement and anticipation began to build for the bridal party. Amanda looked utterly exquisite, wearing a long-sleeved traditional ivory gown, featuring an extended train, high neckline and elegantly dipped back. Gianni Di Natale Photographers, one of our incredible supplier friends, was there snapping away with his camera, capturing everything and anything from the beautiful blousy blooms by Malafronte Fiori to the engagement and wedding ring duo. The bridal bouquet was simple yet stunning, consisting of plush ivory roses, where the stems were sealed with a white ribbon.

While the bride continued getting ready, our team at The Amalfi Experience followed out our final venue checks, finessing even the finest details to ensure the couple would be delivered an unforgettable Amalfi Coast wedding at Anan. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen were papped by Gianni at Hotel Santa Caterina, the perfect venue for the morning of the wedding. They donned classic black-tie attire, which worked beautifully alongside the bride’s timeless aisle style.

The ceremony itself was hosted at Anantara Convento di Amalfi’s chapel, where the entrance was adorned with blush pink and soft white floral designs, elegantly displayed in regal urns. The presence of the flowers filled the air with the romantic scent of delicate roses – with floral magic as always by Malafronte Fiori. White ivory chairs were also entwined with matching flowers, adding a touch of flower-filled sophistication to a traditional setting. Following the ceremony, a traditional Italian band (The Neapolitan Quartet) welcomed guests to their intimate drinks reception, where champagne was flowing under the Italian sunshine. The couple had always wanted to make the most of the venue’s outdoor areas, opting to have their wedding dinner gazing across the panoramic views. Decadent chandeliers hung from the ceiling above linen-lined imperial tables, with white blooms and subtle gold details creating a regal feel for their wedding tablescapes.

As the night drew in, the sky was filled with twinkling stars, where the atmosphere for the evening was set. Amanda changed into her second wedding dress, transforming from day to night, ready to dance with her loved ones. Statement sparklers framed their cake cutting moment, where they enjoyed a glass of bubbles, signifying the start of forever.
