After what has been an undeniably turbulent 18 months for everyone, with hundreds of postponements and wedding dates being rescheduled, it’s a real joy to share today’s love story with you on the blog. We kick-started a very busy wedding season off with Luna and Sergio’s utterly stunning celebration at Villa Treville in Positano. This Amalfi Coast wedding venue is the ultimate luxury, with jaw-droppingly beautiful views across the coastline, glorious gardens galore and spaces that are so decadent you’ll never want to leave. It really was the perfect backdrop to their ‘happily ever after’.
Luna and Sergio hosted a pre-wedding cocktail party at Villa Treville Traviata, with 31 of their closest friends and family. They spoilt their loved ones with an array of cocktails, delicious canapés and lots of traditional live music. During this time, they also gifted their guests with their wedding welcome bags (which you may have already spotted on our IG), which went down an absolute treat.
Saturday 19th June 2021 arrived – the day of the wedding! The glamorous bride-to-be did her own make-up, while Alessandro Mancino’s glam squad worked their hair styling magic for Luna and her bridal party.
Luna and Sergio’s guests arrived at Villa Treville Rotonda for their ceremony, which featured the dreamiest floral archway and an aisle made up of a carpet of petals, courtesy of Armando Malafronte, an incredibly talented florist who we regularly work with at The Amalfi Experience. White Provenza ceremony chairs were adorned with big, blousy blooms in the prettiest colour palette, while a Welcome Signed decorated with matching florals set the scenes as everyone made their way to their seats. Romantic harp and violin music softly played in the background, while guests could also enjoy a glass of prosecco ahead of the service.
After Luna & Sergio’s vows took place, the newlyweds enjoyed a portrait session with Gianni de Natale, making the most of the scenery on offer throughout the Amalfi Coast. During this time, guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés in the Tre Pini Green Park at Villa Treville, including Aperol Spritz and finger foods. The Neapolitan Trio played music as friends and family mingled in the sunshine, preparing everyone for an evening of exquisite wining and dining.
The couple embraced the natural beauty that Villa Treville has to offer for their wedding reception, adding festoon lighting above the dinner tables and up lights along the back-garden wall. Their tablescapes featured gold trim plates and glassware, paired with gold prestige cutlery ad gold Parigina chairs. An exceptional DJ got guests up on their feet and on the dancefloor, before Luna and Sergio cut their gorgeous floral wedding cake. Their edible masterpiece was deliciously covered in white sugar paste and embellished with gilded leaf accents. They opted for ‘delizia al limone’, with Sorrento’s lemons. They opted for fountain fireworks while they cut their cake, which guests toasted to with a glass of bubbly. The happy couple then headed off on a boat for the after party, which was elegantly decorated with florals and lighting.
It really was a luxuriously picture-perfect wedding day and a true pleasure to work with this gorgeous couple! Keep scrolling for plenty of pin-worthy wedding inspiration, captured on camera by Gianni…
