Every wedding we plan is the most important day of our couple’s lives, which is why we endeavour to make sure it’s one they’ll remember forever. We’ve previously spoken about why you may want to consider hiring a destination wedding planner, but it’s our job to wear many hat and to ensure we’re on hand to cover every eventuality. In fact, there isn’t a lot we don’t do! We become friends, confidants and supports to each and every couple we work with, offering our guidance, creating timelines and sourcing vendors. Not only do we plan the logistics of each wedding, we exceed the expectations of our couples to ensure it is a visually stunning, seamless event. There’s a huge amount that goes on in the background, from concept creation and mood-boards, to designing the tablescape and making their vision a reality. We bring big days to life!

No day is ever the same as a luxury destination wedding planner, whether we’re booking in calls with clients, sourcing stunning venues across the coast or creating memorable love stories in the most spectacular of settings. Wedding season on the Amalfi Coast generally begins in April and ends in October, which is without a doubt our busiest time of year. Summer is wonderfully manic here at The Amalfi Experience, with the team often working seven days a week, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

If it’s an office day, I (Jacquie) will wake up, make a coffee and work my way through emails before checking in with the rest of TAE team. We’ll spend the day following up with suppliers, catching up with clients and scheduling meetings – there’s oodles of admin to work through to ensure the perfect wedding day takes place. You’ll also find us posting on social media and providing our couples with plenty of Amalfi magic, if you’re not already following us make sure you swing by the ‘gram here!

Once we’ve worked our way through the organisational elements of wedding planning, it’s time to get creative. We love nothing more than listening to our couple’s dreams for their big days, from rustic-luxe themes to tables adorned with the prettiest floral designs. Here at The Amalfi Experience, we pour our heart and soul into creating epic event design briefs, scouting out new locations and offering our couples plenty inspiration for their Amalfi wedding.

Our clients lead incredibly busy lives, so you will often find us answering calls in the evening and on the end of a webcam at night to fit in with our couple’s lifestyles. We aim to be as flexible, friendly and supportive as possible, no matter what time or day it may be! We also offer our couples an unlimited service that covers everything and everything – no ask is too big or small. Whether it’s organising the travel for your guests to arrive at The Amalfi Coast or booking in exciting trips for your loved ones to enjoy during their time here, we always go the extra mile to ensure your experience is magical.

It goes without saying, the wedding day itself is our favourite part of our job here at The Amalfi Experience. There is something so special about playing a part in a couple celebrating their love story and seeing our brides and grooms with that ‘just married’ feeling plastered all over their faces never gets old.

It’s hugely rewarding seeing the results of our hard work come together, with guests from across the globe enjoying themselves and creating memories that last forever. We adore our couples and often miss them after the planning process – we become such a huge part of their lives, with hundreds of phone calls and Skype sessions throughout the whole process. We make sure the celebration is a true reflection of our couples and for that reason, we get to know them incredibly well and it can often be emotional after weeks, months and sometimes even years of planning and dedication. It’s a joy to welcome many of our couples back to The Amalfi Coast to celebrate birthdays, anniversary and other occasions.
